Embroidery Supplies

Water-Soluble Stabilizer

You’ll also need a printer to use this stabilizer, but it’s my absolute fave! The adhesive water soluble stabilizer allows you to print, stick, and stitch and when you’re done it rinses away!

Embroidery Scissors

Any scissors will do, but I LOVE this style and they’re so easy to pack and take when you’re on the go.

Embroidery Needles

DMC is a fave brand for embroidery products and the variety is helpful for various projects. You can also get larger versions if you’re working with yarn or other heavier thread types.

Embroidery Hoops

A hoop will help keep everything in place while you’re stitching! I love this set because it gives a variety of sizes that work well for apparel and can also be used for hoop embroidery projects.

Embroidery Floss

I couldn’t pick just one color or pack, so use this link to check out the variety at Joann Fabrics! You can also find sets on Amazon or at other hobby stores.

Heat Erasable Pens

These are so fun! They’re cute and being able to erase your sketch and clean things up is wildly satisfying. This is a great way to go freehand and get creative with your projects!

Essential Business Tools

Trello

I use Trello to keep everything on track, from brainstorming new ideas to managing ongoing tasks. It’s a lifesaver for visualizing projects and staying productive. Plus, it's super user-friendly! Dive in and get inspired to boost your own productivity!

ConvertKit

I use ConvertKit to manage my email lists and campaigns. It’s intuitive and designed for creators, making it easy to build connections and share your work. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, ConvertKit offers the tools you need to succeed.

Planoly

I use Planoly to visually plan and schedule my posts, ensuring my feed looks cohesive. As a busy momma, it’s a game-changer for managing content and staying consistent. In addition to auto-posting, it boasts features like analytics and hashtag organization.

Equipment & Desktop Faves

Macbook Air

I use a Macbook Air daily for my day-to-day work with emails and planning with trello as well as my design work. I love how lightweight it is — perfect for working anywhere!

Apple Pencil

I use an Apple Pencil to illustrate my designs and create hand lettered pieces on the iPad with Procreate. Note, I have an older version, so I have the original stylus but be sure to grab the one that works with your iPad!

iPad Pro

I use an OLD iPad Pro from circa 2017 and primarily use it for cleaning up my doodles in Procreate prior to vectorizing them in Adobe Illustrator, so for now it serves its primary purpose.

Wacom Tablet

I use a Wacom tablet and stylus to create vector drawings with Adobe Illustrator on my Macbook Air. I can draw directly with this or import drawings from Procreate to edit with this drawing pad and stylus.

iPhone

Believe it or not, most of my images and all of my classes have been created by using my trusty iphone. To help ensure quality I do use a Rode mic and various tripods while I’m filming or taking photos.

Keyboard & Mouse

I had NO clue what a big deal this set was until I went on a work trip and nearly every person asked me about it! I love that it’s easy to connect and gives the kickback when I’m typing that I crave.

Software & Tools

Adobe Illustrator

I use Adobe Illustrator daily, it’s my go-to of the Adobe Suite! From design work to creating vectors and repeating patterns, Illustrator can do it all. Try it free with a 7-day trial!

Procreate

I use Procreate to clean up drawings from my sketchbook before moving them to Illustrator to vectorize them. I love the flexibility and variety of brushes available in the app.

Adobe Photoshop

I use Adobe Photoshop for everything from simple touch-ups to removing backgrounds or creating gifs. Try it free with a 7-day trial!

Unsplash

I use Unsplash regularly for reference photos when I’m drawing in my sketchbook. There are tons of royalty-free image options as well as premium paid images.

Adobe Premiere Pro

I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit all of my online classes. Its user-friendly interface allows newbies and pros to create their best videos. Try it free with a 7-day trial!

ChatGPT

I’m new to ChatGPT, but it’s been a great tool for getting a rough draft of emails and blog posts. It takes some training, but is well worth the effort to conquer the blank page and jumpstart your work!

Art Supplies

Daily Doodle Sketch Book

I sketch a spread in this sketch book nearly every day, sometimes multiple a day! I love the square shape and smaller size to conquer the blank page.

Watercolor Paints

I use this set regularly and although it’s a student-grade version it’s still more of an investment than the standard kid set, but well-worth the investment!

Mixed Media Sketch Book

I use this sketch book primarily for work with water colors. I love the smaller size and sometimes fold the pages in half to create hand-made cards, too!

Watercolor Brushes

I use fairly cheap brushes since my kiddos like to paint, too. I’ve experimented with various brushes, but the round is by far my favorite for making marks and flowers.

Papermate Flair Pen

I’ve tried hunderds of pens and this is hands down my all-time-favorite! I use it for everything from taking notes to doodling in my sketch book.

Water Brush Pen

I use this brush all the time because it’s super easy to travel with! It’s also been a great way to introduce my littles to watercolor painting without a huge mess — mom win!

Filming Gear

Green Screen

I recently picked up this green screen to film classes and a brand shoot. It’s super easy to set up and store.

Long Arm Tripod

I use this tripod to film overhead shots while creating classes. It does shake at times, so I recommend attaching to a heavier desk or table if you try this out!

Photo Lighting

I use two of these lights to light my office set for filming. They collapse for storage which is a plus and I love the temperature options.

Lavalier Microphone

I use this mic when I’m filming classes. My favorite thing is how easy-peasy it is to attach and use with my iPhone.

Ring Light

I use this ring light for everything from filming classes and day-to-day meeting to our birthday Zoom calls.

Laptop Stand

I LOVE this laptop stand! I actually received this as part of my onboarding for a position and I can’t figure out how I was surviving without it.
