Hi, I’m Kathleen.
I live in Nashville, TN where I work by day as a digital marketer and spend my free time doing anything creative; painting, DIY projects, crafts, and the list goes on.
As a kid, I was always drawing. I skipped taking calculus to take extra art courses in high school and graduated from Otterbein University (near Columbus, OH) with a BA in Art with an emphasis on visual communications.
I started as a graphic designer working for an agency outside of Chicago. From there I made my way to Columbus, OH to work as a site builder for a Fortune 500 company. During my tenure there I also worked in positions that included A/B testing, analytics, and brand digital marketing.
I left the corporate world to join another agency and work remotely - best. decision. ever. I love working from home and it allowed our family to move to Nashville in 2018.
I’ve worked remotely ever since and in 2023 began teaching online through Skillshare. Today I’ve supported 1,000+ students with classes in the business and lifestyle categories and continue to sell designs online through Etsy, REDBUBBLE, Society6, and Spoonflower, with work ranging from hand lettering to surface designs.
I’m committed to growing my creative expertise and continuously sharing what I’ve learned back with my community to help other creatives do the same.
